1. PartsTrader Integration Client (PI Client)

The PartsTrader Integration Client (PI Client) is a PartsTrader application that is installed on your workstation or server to facilitate communication between your shops estimating system and the PartsTrader website. Once installed and configured by our support team, your estimating system will support exporting and importing part information with the PartsTrader website.

Exporting to PartsTrader
Whether you are working on a 4-part estimate or a 40-part estimate, exporting parts to PartsTrader can be done at the click of a button. The PI Client gets the job done efficiently and securely, allowing you to spend your time where it’s needed most.
Importing to your Estimate
After you’ve ordered parts in PartsTrader, you’ll want to update your estimate to reflect what parts you bought and who you bought them from. PartsTrader’s Export to Estimate feature allows you to easily accomplish this by sending this information back to your estimating system, saving you time and minimizing the need for manual entry.  

PI Client FAQ

What is a PI Client and why do I need it?
The PI Client is a small windows application and windows service which runs on your shop PC or Server. This small application makes sure that estimates from your estimating system can be exported to PartsTrader. Once parts are ordered within PartsTrader, it also facilitates importing part changes back to your estimating system.
Where should I install the PI Client?
The most important thing to consider when installing the PI client is your body shop. Different body shops have different type of computers and configurations. The answer to this question depends specifically on you and the environment you are working in. Because of this, it is our recommendation you call our Support Center for help in choosing a configuration that works for you.
Does the PI Client require regular updates?
The PI Client is set to automatically update when new updates are available. These updates run automatically in the background and no action is required.

– Mitchell Estimating (Ultramate) 
– Audatex (Disconnected & Web Version) 
What information does the PI Client send to PartsTrader?
We recognize that data privacy is very important, because of this, we made sure that the PI Client only reads data from your estimates which is needed for parts ordering.
 
PartsTrader communicates with the PI Client (and all software) using the CEICA BMS standard. This ensures that we are only using data which is relevant to parts ordering, thereby protecting the privacy of your customers.

2. Estimating System Integrations

PartsTrader Integrates with trusted estimating systems used by collision professionals around the world. We’ll work with you to make sure our PartsTrader Client is integrated with your estimating system for your business needs.

As of this publication, PartsTrader integrates with the following estimating systems:

  • Mitchell Estimating (UltraMate) 
  • Mitchell Connect 
Installation / Configuration
Each of these estimating systems has unique requirements for configuring exporting to PartsTrader and importing from PartsTrader. Due to the various variables involved, it is recommended that you contact our Support Center at (855)-932-7278 for help installing and configuring the PartsTrader Integration Client with your estimating system.

3. Management System Integrations

PartsTrader also supports integrations with your shop Management System such as Nexsyis and Profitnet. Our management system integrations allow you to streamline your workflow, improve accuracy, and boost productivity. Nexsyis Collision
The PartsTrader and Nexsyis Integration aims to consolidate all actions within Nexsyis Collision. It is designed to help prevent duplicate ordering and reduce double entry. PartsTrader notifications can be seen within Nexsyis in real time, so users always are aware of the status of jobs and parts. We have worked with Nexsyis to build an integration which allows you the peace of mind of knowing your system of record is up to date.

ProfitNet
The PartsTrader ProfitNet Integration aims to prevent duplicate orders, significantly reduce double entry, minimize app switching between PartsTraer and ProfitNet, and automate simple tasks to drive shop efficiencies. We have worked with ProfitNet to create an integration that helps accomplish these primary goals.
