We’re excited to introduce an industry-leading Price Index for all suppliers on PartsTrader. This enhancement is designed to provide suppliers with more accurate insights into the competitive dynamics of their market.
What’s Changing?
This enhancement only affects the information provided to suppliers. There are no changes for repairers. Starting March 31, PartsTrader will replace the existing alternative price from estimates with a data-driven Price Index. It remains important to submit a competitive estimate, as this helps indicate which part types you are considering.
How Does This Affect You?
Our goal is to ensure a smooth transition with no impact on the responses from suppliers. Suppliers will continue to see when you are considering alternative parts based on your estimate.
We are actively working with dealers, alternative suppliers, OE manufacturers, and partnering supplier platforms to ensure they understand this change.
